Hello, I'm

Peter Radavich

I live in Baltimore, where I keep chickens, pull invasive vines out of the park, bake sourdough, and dig through century-old church books looking for my great-grandfather.

Family history

For years, all the family knew was that my great-grandfather Fred came from "Vilna." He turned out to be Фаддей Родзевич, born in 1883 in a village near Molodechno, in what is now Belarus. Getting him from there to Greenfield, Massachusetts took two crossings, a decade apart from his wife, and a detour through Buenos Aires.

About

I live in Baltimore with my family, three dogs (two of them Goldendoodles), and the hens.

My background is in networking and infrastructure. I ran my own IP space and BGP back when that was a hobby people had. These days I'd rather spend my time on things that grow.

On the stereo: grunge, industrial, alt-country, and a lot of dub, from Joe Gibbs to Mad Professor.
